I’m Ryan.
I photograph each and every person as if they were my own family, capturing moments that last for generations. I do not shoot photos that never see the light of day. I shoot photos that are printed and hung, becoming the centerpiece and focal point of offices, living rooms, and bedrooms. This is because my photos elicit euphoric emotions. Need proof? Think back to moments ago when you found yourself smiling at photos of people you didn’t even know. I create perfect photos that last for generations, enabling your family to look back and understand exactly who you were at a time and place. And I do all of this by making it look like you were born to be photographed. It’s a technique, an art that has less to do with the camera and more to do with my unique approach.
BMX is what got me into photography.
Here are a couple shots of me riding.
Natural light. Studio light.
Most of the time I use natural lighting, though I at times will do studio work. I almost never edit (hence the turn around time), opting instead for a simple documentation of the moment, capturing the person as they are. The trick for me—the trick for you—is found in how I take you from uncomfortable to confident in a matter of moments.
